THE FUTURE OF
BADGERS HILL IS HERE
WITH THE LAUNCH OF One Square Foot.
VISION
We’re Changing the Way the World Thinks About Football
Our mission is to transform this historic site from a underwhelming football stadium into a vibrant Community Common —a place where sport, culture, and social enterprise intersect. Moving beyond the legacy of Badgers Hill, we are committed to a 'Frome-First' model of governance that prioritises community wealth building over private profit.
THE FUTURE
INVESTING INTO THE FUTURE GENERATIONS OF FROME SPORT
WHY BECOME A SQUARE FOOT OWNER?
True Community Ownership: The contribution goes directly into a "locked" community fund dedicated to the stadium’s maintenance and the continuation and development of local sport.
A Seat at the Table: Every "Square Foot Owner" will be invited to our bi-annual Community meeting to help decide the future direction of the hub.
Leave Your Mark: Owners will be listed on our "Founders Wall"—a permanent installation made by local artisans, honouring the people who saved the stadium.
PERCEPTION ENABLED
We acknowledge the Health & Safety failures of the past. Our 90-Day Transition Plan prioritises statutory compliance, with immediate audits for Fire, Electrical, and Asbestos safety. By using a Local Trades Registry, we ensure that 100% of refurbishment spending stays mainly within the BA11 economy, supporting the Frome Chamber of Commerce and meeting the Council’s Climate Emergency goals.
SAFEGUARDING FOOTBALL
A different approach, using a new method of sustainability.
The primary purpose of the stadium will remain the support and development of football. All operational decisions relating to the clubhouse and event space will prioritise the needs of football teams, players, and the wider sporting community. Event activity will be carefully managed to complement, rather than replace, the sporting function of the facility.
