PURCHASING
YOUR SQUARE FOOT

"Frome wasn't built by outside investors; it was built by the weavers, the printers, and the independent thinkers. It’s time we applied that same spirit to our stadium."

HOW IT WORKS

1. Purchase A Deed: A one-time payment of £25 per square foot grants you a symbolic "Community Deed."

2. Select Your Squares: Pick your spot—the centre circle, the penalty spot, or the touchline where you’ve stood for years.

3.  Support Frome: 100% of the proceeds stay in Frome, supporting our independent mission.

BE PART OF THE PROCESS

•Every "Square Foot Owner" automatically has a voice.

•The "One Member, One Vote" Rule: Regardless of whether someone owns 1 square or 1000, they have one vote. This mirrors the Co-operative UK model.

•Powers: The Senate meets twice a year to approve the Annual Budget, elect the Board, and veto any major "Change of Use".

THE TRANSAPRENCY

A digital "Transparency Portal" where any Owner can view real-time utility costs, pitch maintenance spend, and bar revenue.

 A 9-person volunteer board.

•The "Skills-Based" Quota: To avoid the mismanagement of previous Badgers Hill operators, seats are reserved for specific expertise:

• 1 x Finance/Audit Lead (To ensure no rent arrears).

• 1 x Health & Safety/Facilities Lead

(To manage the stadium's infrastructure backlog).

• 1 x Youth Sports Liaison

(Representing Frome’s next generation).

• 1 x Independent Trade Rep

(Connecting with Frome businesses).

MOVING FORWARD NOT BACK

At the heart of our bid is the "Own Your Ground" initiative.

By inviting residents, local businesses, football fans and anyone else the opportunity to purchase a symbolic square foot of the pitch, we create an immediate Capital Fund to address the stadium’s maintenance backlog.

This "Human Shield" of local owners ensures the site is self-policing, financially resilient, and democratically governed through a Community Senate.

STEWARDSHIP OVER OWNERSHIP

While we "own" our squares, we are actually stewards for the next generation. Our decisions must protect the stadium for the Frome of 2050, not just the Frome of today.

THE "FROME FIRST" PROCUREMENT

Where the decision makers influences spending, we prioritise local trades and suppliers. We keep the "Square Foot" wealth within the BA11 postcode.
